I believe I inherited my artistic flare from my grandfather and father who were both pleasure artists. From a young age I could be found creating art.

I was introduced to oil painting whilst studying for an Art A’ Level course, which focused largely on still life, abstracts and figure drawing. After A’Levels life took me on another path as a successful Veterinary Physiotherapist. I combined my two passions for art and anatomy, including painting anatomy on horses!

After losing my dog and horse in 2022, I turned my attention to painting landscapes and cityscapes ‘en plein air’, wherever I travelled, resulting in several commissions for artwork.

I set up Winkworth Art to share my passion painting landscapes still life, figures and horses from life.
